Sunday Social Vol. 6

What is one movie you are terrified to watch?
I psych myself out, so it really depends on how "in my head" I am when I'm watching. I usually just make to-do lists in my head to distract myself from anything that might make me pee my pants. The last movie that actually freaked me out, I can't even think of the name of right now and I just watched it two days ago. Already blocking it out apparently. It was by the people who made Insidious, which too, was a horrifying film.

What is one TV show you've always wanted to get into but haven't yet?
I've got a long list of shows I want to watch somewhere, but I think Downton Abbey (which I thought was DownTOWN Abbey for a while there. I never said I was smart.) & Six Feet Under are at the top.

What is one daring activity on your bucket list?
Finish college, haha

Would you ever travel alone?
No.
Maybe.
I don't know.

What activities do you like to do alone?
Honestly? Most things, haha. I like company, but I don't like to entertain. Does that make sense? I like the physical presence of someone, but it's cool if we just surf pinterest and blog all day and say funny things to one another occasionally. I better quit before I offend someone. =)

Sorry......I'm Not Sorry

I am NOT sorry for...

...trying my hardest to be honest 100% of the time
Even when people don't like it.

...maybe eating an entire pizza by myself that one two...nevermind time(s)
I blame my mother. That's 90% of what she ate when she was prego.

...feeling what I feel
I can't help it. They're my feeeeeelings.

...not liking peanut butter
I prefer my mouth not to be sticky. That's what she said.

...not having it all figured out yet
I've got like, a good three years to do that, right? Right???

And last, but certainly not least, for this picture. Because..uh, it's awesome. Duh.

Healer

We've all probably been asked the question, "What superpower would you have?" (If you haven't, consider yourself asked.) My answers have always been:

1. Invisibility
2. Teleportation
3. Reading minds (I definitely DON'T want that one anymore)

Pretty boring standard answers. Well, while perusing through the blog world, I came across an interview entry and this was one of the questions. Her answer?

To heal.

Bam. Slapped in the tits. Yes, that's how vulgar I need to be right now because that made me feel so ignorant and selfish thinking about my answers. Yes, it's clearly a hypothetical question and everbody nobody really cares about the answer, but still.

So.

Next time I get asked that question, that's my new answer.

Pinteresting Vol. 3 - Quote Edition

What up blog people (the 12 of you who read this) =) Tis Wednesday and time for some Pinterest loving. Although I love Pinterest every day. When they finally got their shiz together and made the Android app worth a hoot, it basically took over my life. And I can save shit to my phone?! Mind. Blown. Life. Changed. HaHa Okay, that's a little dramatic.

But seriously.

This week I decided to go with a theme and since I'm always reading quotes and things for motivation, inspiration, etc. that's, uh, what I picked. Yea. Here are some favorites:

Happy Hump Day!

Sunday Social Vol. 4

1. What was your first car? a blue '91 Chevy Corsica
2. Who was your favorite childhood teacher? Honestly I was very lucky with getting good teachers all thru my schooling, even high school (with a couple exceptions). My kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Carey, and my 6th grade teacher Mrs. Jackson, stick out though.
3. Were you involved in any sports/extracurricular activities? I did track for a minute and was a band geek 6th-12th!!
4. What was your favorite birthday party? All my birthdays were/are always special. It's usually dinner, a cake (which my mom usually makes), and being with my family & friends. Oh, and it's tradition to get breakfast in bed.
5. Who was your teen celebrity crush? I think I was too busy with crushes in real life because I can't think of a single one. I was really boy crazy though, which I didn't realize until A). I read some old diaries from middle school B). My Mom reminded me that she clearly remembers me having a new crush every week!
6. What show/movie did your parent(s) not allow you to watch? MTV. The Simpsons. Ren & Stimpy (which I watched anyway, for some reason). But here's the worst...I wasn't allowed to watch FRIENDS!! But I did anyway when I went to my best friend's house (sorry Mom :)) And I own the series now, so it's a happy ending.

!!!!!!!

I feel like I need to stop over using exclamation points when I post/text/type/blog/update. It's not that I'm not excited. Just not about every. thing. I need a symbol that portrays friendly, but not excited. Because it takes quite a bit to get me truly excited these days. Especially since in the last 3 months, I've been to New York City and Disney World. I mean...yea....somebody's got some large shoes to fill. Whatever that means.

Also, what's a girl gotta do to get a Em Effin' retweet from Josh Groban? Or any celeb for that matter. Because I'm not uploading an obscene pic of myself just to get one here. Gah. Famous people. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

I keep reading things blogs about The Bachelor. My mom even told me today that she thought I watched it. Well, I watched the first episode of this season. I haven't watched it, well, ever, really. Just for a millisecond, then I laugh, then I roll my eyes, then I vomit, then I change the channel. I mean, I don't have anything else to watch on Mondays, soooo I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon.

One day this blog will not be filled with link ups and pre-made posts and randomness. That is, if I find anything to write about.

Peace up, A town...ya know.

Oh.
And I got bangs.

Oh Yea. I Went to Disney World. Part One.

I flew on a plane for the first time.

I met Mary Poppins and Jasmine & Aladdin.
Two of my favorite Disney movies ever.

I got to spend a week in gorgeous 72+ degree weather.

My cousin has the cutest baby on the planet.

Everyone got the red pants memo except me....

Let's be honest, posting about Disney World cannot be done in one post. So as soon as I sort through the 4 bajillion photos & edit them to be blog worthy, I'll post up Part Deux!

How Pinteresting! Vol. 2

Oh Pinterest. You suck away all my time and make me super unproductive. And I love it.
